Lanarkshire's Best Green Business
This award is for businesses that can demonstrate clear links between improvements to their company performance, e.g. increased productivity, profitability, etc, through environmental and sustainable processes and practices or for companies that have developed new business opportunities arising from environmental technologies and practices.
This award recognises business success achieved through a strategic, comprehensive and innovative approach to the integration of environmental strategy across all aspects of the company’s processes and practices. The judges will be looking for clear evidence of how companies have exploited new business opportunities resulting from emerging environmental technologies and how those practices have positively imapcted on the business.
Successful companies will have sustainable development at the heart of their business strategy. Entrants should be able to demonstrate continued commitment to taking responsibility for the impact of its operations on its customers, employees, shareholders and community.
Application
The entry proccess for 2010 awards is now closed. Winners will be announced at the ceremony on Friday 26th February 2010.
