Lanarkshire Tourism Excellence Award
This award is open to tourism businesses that have successfully developed innovative ways of expanding their products/services/market, or have developed innovative ways of working with customers or other tourism businesses to increase performance.
Entrants will demonstrate a high degree of creativity and dynamism and will be exploring ways in which to fully exploit their own tourism offering in Lanarkshire through partnership working with other tourism providers or working with non-traditional tourism businesses.
Businesses should be able to demonstrate commitment to growth and success in achieving planned objectives and have a clearly defined vision for growing the business, for example in terms of visitor numbers, turnover, employment, quality aasurance ratings, or local and national impact.
Staff development and involvement of the workforce in growth and success of the business will be a key characteristics. Entrants should be able to prove a track record in customer satisfaction and a continued commitment to exceeding customer expectations by providing a unique customer experience.
Application
The entry proccess for 2010 awards is now closed. Winners will be announced at the ceremony on Friday 26th February 2010.
