Support can be offered to businesses (operating in eligible sectors) with less than 250 emplyees, with an annual turnover of less than EUR 50 million (c. £39 million) and a blance sheet of less than EUR 43 million (c.£34 million).

- Agriculture linked to farm diversification
- Tourism and tourism infrastructure
- Service based (providing they are not one of the ineligible sectors)

- Real Estate/Property Development
- Professional Services
- Social and Personal Services
- Pubs, Clubs and Restaurants
- Retail (with the exception of the Lanarkshire Retail Development Programme)
- Local Services
