Conservation area review
The Council is reviewing the Conservation Areas in North Lanarkshire and is seeking your help in answering the following questions:
-
Are the existing 7 Conservation Area boundaries in the right place? Do they need to be reduced or enlarged?
Click on the area to view the existing boundary:
- Blairhill and Dunbeth, Coatbridge;
- Cumbernauld Village;
- Drumgelloch, Airdrie;
- Dullatur;
- Hamilton Road, Motherwell;
- Victoria and Town Centre, Airdrie;
- Kilsyth (reviewed 2009);
Or visit North Lanarkshire Council’s website.
- Are the existing Conservation Area controls about right or do they need to be lessened or enhanced (e.g. by Article 4 Direction)?
- Are there any new areas worthy of designation as Conservation Areas? What do you think? Are there other areas?
To comment on any of the above please download the Conservation Area Review Consultation Leaflet (pdf) or Conservation Area Review Consultation Leaflet (doc).
